Every education employee—including classroom teachers, support staff and administrators—helps FCPS deliver the first-class education our students deserve. And when each of us makes leadership our business, we’re even more successful in the important work we do.

Strengthen your role for envisioning and sharing our education mission. See how developing and modeling your informal leadership abilities will inspire trust and help others make ethical decisions, building consensus to reach our common goals. Develop skills to work collaboratively, empowering others to make a difference for students. Realize your power to motivate others through encouragement and appreciation for their contributions to the FCPS community. And, most important, find out the value of managing with your head and leading with your heart!
